We Believe in the authority of the
Scriptures. The Bible is
our only basis for faith and life.
We believe Jesus is the uniquely
divine Son of God. He is God who
became a man to give his life as a sacrifice for
the world's sins. He died on the cross of Calvary
and rose again to grant new life to all who believe
in him.
We believe in a personal
relationship with God through faith in Jesus
Christ. God has
designed us to live in relationship with him. Sin
blocks that relationship. In order to restore
fellowship, we must confess our sin to God and
receive his forgiveness. The process is as simple
as A-B-C-D.
We believe in living out the
Lordship of Christ. Being a
Christian begins with a decision to follow Christ,
but must continue through commitment to a growing,
dynamic relationship and full surrender of
ourselves to Jesus as Lord. We must put him in
charge of every aspect of our lives.
We believe faith in Jesus Christ is
expressed through faithfulness to his
church. The church is
not a building; it is a body of believers, winning
people to Christ, building them in faith and
equipping them to serve God.
